Miss Colbie and her big sister came to see me in November.  I was so happy to meet these little beauties, since I grew up with their mom and dad.  I always love meeting children of people I knew as a child.  Well, I love photographing all kids really, but it makes it even better when you feel a little like you already know them!  And, it helps when they are this cute...

2012 was another great year for Michelle Hansen Photography!

  This past year I approached the 50 session mark {19 of which were newborns} and continued to push myself to try new and different things.  I have developed a nice little client base, had some repeat customers and have learned how well word of mouth travels!  I love having happy clients recommend me to their family and friends.  This year, I will be offering referral bonuses, so please let me know if you would like some referral cards and you and your friends can all save some cash! Newborn Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Maternity/Newborn Session: Breanne, Jaime, and Tessa

I was thrilled to be able to photograph Breanne and Jaime before they had their sweet little baby girl.  They came out near Burbank to meet me one beautiful summer evening about 6 weeks before Tessa arrived.  Breanne was pretty well up for anything which made it very easy.  It doesn't hurt that she is gorgeous either!

So it was no big surprise when they showed up with a gorgeous baby either... Even now looking at these photos, Tessa just melts my heart!  She was an absolute joy to photograph.  Thank you Breanne and Jaime for giving me the pleasure of photographing these precious times.

Newborn Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Newborn Session: Avelynn

I was thrilled when sweet little Avelynn came to get her newborn photos done.  What a beautiful little girl!  Her mom and dad were happy to let me try out my new mermaid outfit, so that was an extra bonus,  and she slept like a champ! I was finally able to make hand hearts....  Swoon.  Maybe next summer I will be lucky enough to take a mermaid outside, it was just too chilly when Avelynn was here, but I think we made it work alright!

Little Nadia is one of the most unique looking {and beautiful} newborns I have ever had the privilege of photographing.  She was also so well behaved, which always helps.  I used Nadia as a model to showcase props from Bean's Knots and Whatnots once again.  Thank you Crystal, for giving me the use of your gorgeous products.  Find them HERE.

I was so excited when Vineeta and Sonny asked me to do photos of their new little one when she arrived.  I couldn't get over how sweet little Rhea was.  She was the perfect little model for the props I was showcasing from Crystal with Bean's Knots and Whatnots.  Crystal crochets beautiful photo prop hats, halos, and cocoons, and is also from Red Deer!  See her work HERE.

Newborn Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Newborn Session: Zoey

Zoey came to see me when she was a few weeks old.  She was still a tiny little bundle though...  Still under 8 pounds!  Her session was a gift from her Grandma and Auntie and I am so happy they were able to give her parents the gift of these memories.  Time goes so fast, babies grow and change so fast.  If you are interested in gifting someone a session, please contact me.  I am more than happy to accompany those requests :)
