Newborn Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Newborn Session: Colbie the Cutie

Miss Colbie and her big sister came to see me in November.  I was so happy to meet these little beauties, since I grew up with their mom and dad.  I always love meeting children of people I knew as a child.  Well, I love photographing all kids really, but it makes it even better when you feel a little like you already know them!  And, it helps when they are this cute...

Family Photographer: Coronation, AB - Extended Family Session: Farm Boys and Their Girls

I love going back home, to where I grew up.  I wish I was able to do it more.

My family all left, so I have no 'home' to go back to in Coronation.

But I still love it so.

When one of my friends I grew up with asked me to come out and do family photos, I was thrilled.  Her in-laws have all this farm land, and she wanted to get photos done on the old home site where her father in law grew up.  Kevin thought we were crazy because "all that's out there is a bunch of old buildings..."

HELLO!!

It was even better than I imagined and I am so glad to have been able to photograph people there!  Not to mention, people as beautiful as these ones.  I even said to one of the girls

"You are so pretty, and you look so much like your dad.  I never would have thought someone that looked like your daddy could be so pretty." Teehee.

Family Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Extended Family Session: Fall into Family

What a beautiful evening we had to take a walk and take some photos, we were so lucky.  The children behaved and I even got to take a few with my 'ugly green chair' as I've heard it called.  It may not be pretty, but I still love it!  Its perfect outside in the fall!  Now if only I could find a matching couch...

Family Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Fall Mini Extravaganza!!

I have become so far behind in my blogging that I decided to make one rather large post to showcase all of the Fall Family Mini's I captured last year.  Mini sessions are something I had tried only once before these, so I really didn't know what to expect.  Well, I ran out of spots right away and ended up adding a few more in!  I'm sure I will be offering them again this fall, but once again, they will be limited, as we are going on a family vacation to a friend's wedding in October!
