Family Photographer: Red Deer, AB - Fall Mini Extravaganza!!

I have become so far behind in my blogging that I decided to make one rather large post to showcase all of the Fall Family Mini's I captured last year.  Mini sessions are something I had tried only once before these, so I really didn't know what to expect.  Well, I ran out of spots right away and ended up adding a few more in!  I'm sure I will be offering them again this fall, but once again, they will be limited, as we are going on a family vacation to a friend's wedding in October!

Today, I am taking time to talk about The Smiling Eyes Project.  I have been a volunteer photographer with Smiling Eyes for the past 2 years.  Unfortunately, I am the only registered photographer with the group in Alberta.  I would like that to change!

It's easy.  We offer free photography sessions for families facing cancer.

Red Deer Photographer: Red Deer, AB - 2012 Year in Review

2012 was another great year for Michelle Hansen Photography!

  This past year I approached the 50 session mark {19 of which were newborns} and continued to push myself to try new and different things.  I have developed a nice little client base, had some repeat customers and have learned how well word of mouth travels!  I love having happy clients recommend me to their family and friends.  This year, I will be offering referral bonuses, so please let me know if you would like some referral cards and you and your friends can all save some cash! All Aboard! My View of the Alberta Prairie Railway Excursion

This past August, I had the opportunity to ride along on the Alberta Prairie Railway Excursion to Big Valley with my good friend Sheri of Edge Photography.  We had the pleasure of meeting many of the wonderful people that make the attraction as fun as it is, and I really enjoyed my time there.  I would encourage any of my friends, family, and clients to take their families on this old fashioned adventure.  Many thanks to both Sheri and the team at APRE for the wonderful day!
